SAAVIK FOUNDATION PIONEERS WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT IN EMS THROUGH FOUNDING SPONSORSHIP OF WOMEN IN EMERGENCY SERVICES 

AURORA, CO – August 8, 2023 – Women in Emergency Services (WiES) proudly welcomes the Saavik Foundation as a founding sponsor, marking a significant step forward in advancing women's empowerment in Emergency Medical Services. Established in 2022, WiES has grown rapidly with over 200 members at every career level and programs to support professional development.  

The Saavik Foundation, renowned for its concentrated efforts in research, benchmarking, education, and the advancement of EMS systems, is now at the forefront of fostering collaboration among national and international groups. Through their commitment to innovation and progress in EMS, the Saavik Foundation aligns seamlessly with WiES' mission.  

In addition to their founding sponsorship, the Saavik Foundation has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to supporting women in EMS by generously providing a substantial number of membership scholarships. These scholarships offer financial support to women who aspire to join WiES, emphasizing the Saavik Foundation's dedication to breaking down financial barriers and creating opportunities for aspiring female professionals in the field.
